As explained in my previous post, there are three cases of the present tense verb, the default case, the imperfect (\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0631\u0641\u0648\u0639<\/span><\/span>), the subjunctive (<\/span>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0646\u0635\u0648\u0628<\/span><\/span>), and the jussive (<\/span>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u062c\u0632\u0648\u0645<\/span><\/span>). The case of the verb depends on what precedes it. In this post, I explain the three cases of the present tense verb with suffix endings (<\/span>\u0627\u0646\u060c \u064a\u0646\u060c \u0648\u0646<\/span><\/span>), i.e. verbs conjugated with the pronouns (<\/span>\u0623\u0646\u062a\u0650\u060c \u0647\u0645\u0627\u060c \u0623\u0646\u062a\u0645\u0627\u060c \u0647\u0645\u060c \u0623\u0646\u062a\u0645<\/span><\/span>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The imperfect (\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0631\u0641\u0648\u0639<\/span><\/span>) is the default case; we find it when the verb is not preceded by anything specific, or by (<\/span>\u0644\u0627<\/span><\/span>) for negation. The suffixes do not change in the default case, for example: <\/span>\u0623\u0646\u062a\u0650 \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u064a\u0646\u060c \u0647\u0645\u0627 \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u0646\/\u0647\u0645\u0627 \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u0646\u060c \u0623\u0646\u062a\u0645\u0627 \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u0646\u060c \u0647\u0645 \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0646\u060c \u0627\u0646\u062a\u0645 \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0646<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The subjunctive (\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0646\u0635\u0648\u0628<\/span><\/span>) occurs when the verb is preceded by (<\/span>\u0623\u0646\u060c \u0644\u0646\u060c \u0644\u0650\u060c \u062d\u062a\u0649\u060c \u0643\u064a<\/span><\/span>). In this case, the suffixes change by dropping the final (<\/span>\u0646<\/span><\/span>) as follows, for example: <\/span>\u0623\u0646\u062a\u0650 <\/span>\u0644\u0646<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u064a\u060c \u0647\u0645\u0627 <\/span>\u0644\u0646<\/span> \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\/ \u0647\u0645\u0627 <\/span>\u0644\u0646<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u060c \u0623\u0646\u062a\u0645\u0627 <\/span>\u0644\u0646<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u060c \u0647\u0645 <\/span>\u0644\u0646<\/span> \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0627\u060c \u0627\u0646\u062a\u0645<\/span> \u0644\u0646<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0627<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The jussive (\u0627\u0644\u0645\u062c\u0632\u0648\u0645<\/span><\/span>) occurs when the verb is preceded by (<\/span>\u0644\u0645<\/span><\/span>) . In this case, the suffixes change by dropping the final (<\/span>\u0646<\/span><\/span>) as follows, for example: <\/span>\u0623\u0646\u062a\u0650<\/span> \u0644\u0645<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u064a\u060c \u0647\u0645\u0627<\/span> \u0644\u0645<\/span> \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\/ \u0647\u0645\u0627<\/span> \u0644\u0645<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u060c \u0623\u0646\u062a\u0645\u0627 <\/span>\u0644\u0645<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0627\u060c \u0647\u0645<\/span> \u0644\u0645<\/span> \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0627\u060c \u0627\u0646\u062a\u0645<\/span> \u0644\u0645<\/span> \u062a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0627<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the sentences below, choose the right form of the present tense verb and mark the ending as appropriate. The verb you need to use will be provided at the end of the sentence in brackets.<\/span><\/p>\n
