A great thing happened the other day at \u79c0\u6c34\u8857 <\/strong>(the silk market), and even the day before at \u4e2d\u5173\u6751<\/strong> (zhongguancun – see below).\u00a0 A friend of mine said that if I could get a deal lower than the one he got on a U-\u76d8<\/strong>(thumb drive), then he would \u8bf7\u6211\u5403\u996d<\/strong>(treat me to a meal).\u00a0 The first vendor I see \u5c45\u7136<\/strong>(unexpectedly)\u00a0 had a price that was \u5c11\u4e8e<\/strong> (less than) 120 \u5757<\/strong>(RMB), the price my friend paid.\u00a0 He certainly did \u51fa\u4e11<\/strong>(get embarrassed), and I didn’t blink at handing over the \u672c\u94b1<\/strong> (buying price – used for sellers) to seal the deal.\u00a0 He paid not only for his own thumb drive, but now he’ll have to pay for my meal too.\u00a0 \u591a\u4e8f<\/strong>! (what a loss!)<\/p>\n
