The town and its surroundings are famous for karst mountain peaks.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Lose

Lose the crowds on two wheels and have places like these all to yourself.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Rock

Rock climbing put Yangshuo on the map, and remains a major draw for travelers here.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Bamboo

Bamboo rafts are in abundance to cruise you around.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The

The famous Moon Hill, a great place for a hike.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The

The view from the very top of Moon Hill. Technically not allowed to visit, but we won’t tell \ud83d\ude09<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Entrance

Entrance to one of the many caves in the area. Inside you can soak in a hot spring or a pool of mud.<\/p><\/div>\n

The super touristy Butterfly Cave. Best avoided, but the entrance is good for a photo.<\/p><\/div>\n

The morning mist covers the karst peaks on a Li River cruise.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The

The scenery here was inspiration for the 20 RMB note.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"A

A buffalo hanging out in the middle of the river.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Cruise

Cruise along the river and take in the stunning scenery.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The

The towns specialty – beer fish. Mmmm… beer fish.<\/p><\/div>\n

The town’s West Street is full of vendors, shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Hitler

Hitler or Bin Laden shirt anyone? Or maybe just Jack Sparrow?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Lazers

Lazers illuminate the West Street at night.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Cormorant

Cormorant fishing is more of a show for tourists these days.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Rent

Rent a motorbike and cruise to viewpoints like this high above the Li River.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Views
