At 74 meters tall and 81 meters wide it is quite spectacular. It’s even possible to walk through a cave behind the massive fall. It is inside the Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park and there are other waterfalls for your viewing pleasure. An entrance ticket is 180RMB and there is a sight seeing bus for 50RMB to drive you through the area. For the more energetic type it is also possible to walk through. It’s never very crowded since almost everyone else is on the bus. Getting to Anshun is quite easy and possible by both train and plane. Living in Kunming it was very easy for us to take an overnight trip there as the train is only about 7 hours. It can also be done as a day trip from Guiyang, although staying a night in Anshun would allow you to visit the Dragon Palace Cave as well. For those who prefer a bit of nature on their trip rather than big cities this is a great place to visit.
