It’s \u53f0\u98ce<\/strong> (typhoon) season here in southern China, and in Hong Kong the warning level has gone up to 8\u7ea7<\/strong> (level 8) which is when they stop airplanes from flying.\u00a0 It’s been \u66b4\u96e8<\/strong> (raining heavily) all day, which has led to \u964d\u6e29<\/strong> (a drop in temperature). Even the most \u52e4\u52b3<\/strong> (arduous) people from work had to get off early or else there wouldn’t be any buses. Meanwhile, a colleague had to go \u6253\u9488<\/strong> (get a shot) because she had \u611f\u5192<\/strong> (caught a cold) .\u00a0 Has anyone heard about getting shots when having a cold?\u00a0 It doesn’t seem like a part of \u4e2d\u533b<\/strong> (Chinese medicine) , as my experience with \u4e2d\u533b<\/strong> has largely involved drinking a \u82e6<\/strong> (bitter) mixture which alleviates symptoms after a few days.<\/p>\n
