Not for its elegant name, but for its comfort taste.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I miss China I enter the kitchen to cook myself \u5730\u4e09\u9c9c. In couple of minutes, one pan and three vegetables, my house is filled with Chinese smells and tastes. As the dish name implies: it consists of only three (\u4e09s\u0101n) delicacies (\u9c9c xi\u0101n) from the ground (\u5730 d\u00ec).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u5730\u4e09\u9c9c\u7b97\u662f\u6211\u6700\u7231\u7684\u7d20\u83dc\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>D\u00ec s\u0101n xi\u0101n su\u00e0nsh\u00ec w\u01d2 zu\u00ec \u00e0i de s\u00f9c\u00e0i zh\u012b y\u012b.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Di San Xian is one of my most favorite vegetarian dishes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5730\u4e09\u9c9cis a classical dish from north eastern Chinese cuisine. While travelling in the northern provinces of China, I ate this dish quite a lot. Chinese meals are shared: each diner has its own bowl and chopsticks, but the dishes are served for the all table. Everyone is enjoying the selection of dishes served, and I\u2019ve noticed that even the meat-eaters savor this dish. The \u5730\u4e09\u9c9c plate is always empty at the end of the meal.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u5730\u4e09\u9c9c\u662f\u4e00\u9053\u4e1c\u5317\u4f20\u7edf\u540d\u83dc\u3002<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>D\u00ec s\u0101n xi\u0101n sh\u00ec y\u012bd\u00e0o d\u014dngb\u011bi chu\u00e1nt\u01d2ng m\u00edng c\u00e0i.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Di San Xian is a traditional famous dish of northeast China.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u4e09\u4e2a\u975e\u5e38\u666e\u901a\u7684\u98df\u6750\u505a\u6210\u65e0\u6bd4\u7684\u4f73\u80b4\u3002<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>S\u0101n g\u00e8 f\u0113ich\u00e1ng p\u01d4t\u014dng de sh\u00edc\u00e1i zu\u00f2 ch\u00e9ng w\u00fab\u01d0 de ji\u0101y\u00e1o.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Three very common ingredients make an incomparable delicacy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5730\u4e09\u9c9c is a simple delicious dish, needed only three vegetables that can be easily found in any Chinese farmers\u2019 market:<\/p>\n<p>\u8304\u5b50 (qi\u00e9zi) = eggplant<\/p>\n<p>\u571f\u8c46 (t\u01d4d\u00f2u) = potato<\/p>\n<p>\u9752\u6912 (q\u012bngji\u0101o) = green pepper<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u5236\u4f5c\u6750\u6599\u662f\u4e09\u79cd\u5730\u91cc\u65b0\u9c9c\u7684\u98df\u6750\uff1a\u8304\u5b50\u3001\u571f\u8c46\u548c\u9752\u6912\u3002<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zh\u00eczu\u00f2 c\u00e1ili\u00e0o sh\u00ec s\u0101n zh\u00f2ng d\u00ec l\u01d0 x\u012bnxi\u0101n de sh\u00edc\u00e1i: qi\u00e9zi, t\u01d4d\u00f2u h\u00e9 q\u012bngji\u0101o.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The cooking materials are three fresh ingredients from the ground: eggplant, potato,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>and green pepper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t need to be a chef to cook this dish. You only need the right vegetables and the right tool: one large pan. First, chop the vegetables, and then heat oil in the pan. Fry the ingredients one by one: the eggplant until it soft, the potato until golden, and the green pepper for a short while. After frying, remove the vegetables to a large plate. Stir fry minced garlic and ginger and add the already fried vegetables. Some add cornstarch to make the dish more crispy. While mixing, add salt and soy sauce.
