Chinese food is too delicious to refuse. I love rice, tofu, noodles, dumplings, and I gorge on all the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/chinese\/10-must-try-foods-in-china\/\">10 must-try foods in China<\/a>. No wonder why I always return home with some extra kilos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u80d6<\/strong><strong>p\u00e0ng<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u80d6(p\u00e0ng) is an adjective meaning \u201cfat\u201d. It is an easy character to write: it consists of the radical \u6708, which often can be found in body related characters (like: \u8138li\u01cen for face, and\u8170y\u0101o for waist). And the second component \u534a (b\u00e0n) implies the character\u2019s pronunciation. \u80d6 is used to describe people. Every time I\u2019m invited to dinner, at some one\u2019s home or out in a restaurant, my Chinese host always makes sure I\u2019m satiated. And when the round table laden with <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/chinese\/vegetarian-chinese-food\/\">\u5730\u4e09\u9c9c<\/a> and other vegetarian dishes I always \u5403\u9971\u4e86.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u6211\u5e38\u5e38\u72c2\u5403\u997a\u5b50\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>W\u01d2 ch\u00e1ngch\u00e1ng ku\u00e1ng ch\u012b ji\u01ceozi.<\/p>\n<p>I often gorge on dumplings.<\/p>\n<p>\u72c2 (ku\u00e1ng) is an adverb meaning \u201cwildly\u201d, and it can be added to various verbs.
