On the streets and online, the beautiful and talented actors <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chang_Chen\">Zhang Zhen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tang_Wei\">Tang Wei<\/a> hold blue cups. The logo on the cup is a white deer, and the slogan is: \u8fd9\u4e00\u676f\uff0c\u8c01\u4e0d\u7231 (zh\u00e8 y\u012bb\u0113i sh\u00e9i b\u00f9 \u00e0i, \u201cwho wouldn\u2019t love this cup?\u201d). In other advertisements the slogan is more descriptive: \u5c0f\u84dd\u676f\uff0c\u8c01\u4e0d\u7231 (xi\u01ceo l\u00e1n b\u0113i, sh\u00e9i b\u00f9 \u00e0i, \u201cwho wouldn\u2019t love little blue cup?\u201d). Even in first tier cities, it increases to only about twenty cups a year. Chinese still prefer their traditional tea. And yet, having launched only in January this year, Luckin Coffee has already established more than 500 outlets around the country. That\u2019s about a fifth of Starbucks\u2019 local outlets, which has operated in China since 1999 and has more than 3,000 stores. More than third of their outlets are kitchens dedicated exclusively to fill delivery orders. Their prices are lower than Starbucks\u2019, and they attract customers to drink their fine coffee with different deals: \u9996\u676f\u514d\u8d39 (sh\u01d2u b\u0113i mi\u01cenf\u00e8i, \u201cfirst cup free\u201d), \u4e702\u8d601 (m\u01cei 2 z\u00e8ng 1, \u201cbuy 2 get 1 free\u201d), and so on.<\/p>\n<p>So next time in China, before entering Starbucks, Costa, or Dunkin Donuts, try a \u201clittle blue cup\u201d instead.
