A week later, in the closing session of the congress, the Communist Party added Xi\u2019s ideology into its constitution (\u515a\u7ae0d\u01ceng zh\u0101ng). More than two thousand delegates voted unanimously to incorporate Xi Jinping political thought into China\u2019s fundamental law. Thus, making Xi the first leader since Mao Zedong to have his ideology described as \u201cthought\u201d and included in the Party documents while in office. The other theory to be enshrined in the constitution after Mao\u2019s death is \u201cDeng Xiaoping Theory\u201d (\u9093\u5c0f\u5e73\u7406\u8bba), which was added only after Deng passed away.<\/p>\n
Xi Jinping\u2019s thought was granted a prominent place in the preamble of China\u2019s constitution, securing Xi as China\u2019s strongest man. Enshrining his name and doctrine in the party constitution makes Xi unchallengeable. From now on, threatening Xi means threatening the Communist Party, which means threatening the government.<\/p>\n
Renmin University<\/a> was the first to establish a research center (\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\u5fc3y\u00e1n ji\u016b zh\u014dng x\u012bn) for learning Xi Thought. One after the other, universities around China followed with their own Xi Thought Centers. The Chinese Ministry of Education announced<\/a> Xi Thought as the new addition to high school curriculum.<\/p>\n A five-part TV show called \u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u5b66\u4e60\u5927\u4f1a was aired in October during prime time on Hunan Television.
