In 2018, it exceeded 4 trillion RMB (more than 600 billion U.S. dollars) in revenue. Last October, the China Cuisine Association issued the \u201c2018 Top 70 Fast Food Companies in China\u201d (\u4e2d\u56fd\u5feb\u9910\u4f01\u4e1a70<\/strong>\u5f3a\u540d\u5355<\/strong>). The top three places in the list are dominated by foreign companies: Kentucky Fried Chicken (\u80af\u5fb7\u57fa<\/strong>k\u011bn d\u00e9 j\u012b) in first place, followed by McDonald\u2019s<\/a> (\u9ea6\u5f53\u52b3<\/strong> m\u00e0i d\u0101ng l\u00e1o), and Burger King (\u6c49\u5821\u738b<\/strong>h\u00e0n b\u01ceo w\u00e1ng). Numbers eight and ten on the list are also occupied by foreign chains, both Japanese: Ajisen ramen (\u5473\u5e72\u62c9\u9762<\/strong>W\u00e8i g\u00e0n l\u0101mi\u00e0n) and Yoshinoya (\u5409\u91ce\u5bb6<\/strong>j\u00ed y\u011b ji\u0101) respectively. The other five fast food restaurants in the top ten are China\u2019s own homegrown brands.<\/p>\n
