Especially when talking about feelings and emotions. In this kind of conversation, the Chinese word for <em>heart<\/em> (\u5fc3 x\u012bn) is very useful.<\/p>\n<p>\u5fc3 is a short of \u5fc3\u810f (x\u012bn z\u00e0ng), which means <em>heart<\/em>, and refers to the physical organ. As in the Chinese medical terms: \u5fc3\u810f\u75c5 (x\u012bn z\u00e0ng b\u00ecng, <em>heart disease<\/em>), \u5fc3\u810f\u5b66 (x\u012bn z\u00e0ng xu\u00e9, <em>cardiology<\/em>), \u5fc3\u810f\u8870\u7aed (x\u012bn z\u00e0ng shu\u0101i ji\u00e9, <em>heart failure<\/em>), etc. For example:<\/p>\n<p>\u5fc3\u810f\u662f\u4eba\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u5668\u5b98\u3002<\/p>\n<p>X\u012bn z\u00e0ng sh\u00ec r\u00e9n zu\u00ec zh\u00f2ng y\u00e0o de q\u00ec gu\u0101n.<\/p>\n<p><em>The heart is the most important organ. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u4ed6\u5fc3\u810f\u5df2\u505c\u6b62\u8df3\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n<p>T\u0101 x\u012bn z\u00e0ng y\u01d0 t\u00edng zh\u01d0 ti\u00e0o d\u00f2ng.<\/p>\n<p><em>His heart has stopped beating.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The sole character \u5fc3 (x\u012bn) represents the physical body part.
