I had a plan when I was returning from Shenzhen to Boston.\u00a0 I didn’t tell anyone of my plan prior to doing it, but I planned to stand at my house’s \u95e8\u53e3<\/strong> (entrance) and \u6309<\/strong> (press\/[ring]) the \u95e8\u94c3<\/strong> (doorbell), as this would \u80af\u5b9a<\/strong> (definitely) be a great \u60ca\u559c<\/strong> (surprise).\u00a0 Previously I had arranged for my parents to have a \u7f51\u7edc\u89c6\u9891<\/strong> (internet video) chat.\u00a0 I rang the house doorbell and watched my dad leave the room to go up the \u697c\u68af<\/strong> (stairs) where he came to the front door and saw me- startled at where I was.\u00a0 The whole affair seemed like a recent television \u5e7f\u544a <\/strong>(advertisement) for a wireless telecommunications company.\u00a0 Although it is my impression that I crossed more \u65f6\u533a<\/strong> (time zones) than did the female protagonist in the ad.\u00a0 No matter what, I continually \u9519\u8fc7<\/strong> (miss) that commercial, so I cannot make a judgment or comparison between our two surprises yet.<\/p>\n
