It is followed by the language the speaker is speaking right now, or in general:<\/p>\n<p>\u4ed6\u5728\u8bf4\u82f1\u8bed\u3002<\/p>\n<p>T\u0101 z\u00e0i shu\u014d y\u012bng y\u01d4.<\/p>\n<p><em>He is speaking English.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u4eba\u8bf4\u4fc4\u8bed\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 lu\u00f3 s\u012b r\u00e9n shu\u014d \u00e8 y\u01d4.<\/p>\n<p><em>Russians speak Russian.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another verb refers to languages is \u8bb2 (ji\u01ceng), meaning <em>to speak<\/em>.
