When you arrive at an international airport in China, there’s no doubt that you’ll be going through \u6d77\u5173<\/strong>(customs) and you’ll have to \u586b\u8868<\/strong>(fill out a table) which will determine your status in China.\u00a0 Also, if you’re carrying a lot of items, then you’ll have to \u7533\u62a5<\/strong>(declare items) based on their \u4ef7\u503c<\/strong>(value).\u00a0 You’ll undoubtedly have to go through \u8fb9\u68c0<\/strong>(border control), whereupon somebody will \u5ba1\u6838<\/strong>(review) your \u8bc1\u4ef6<\/strong>(documents) and make sure that they \u751f\u6548<\/strong>(are effective).\u00a0 If everything checks out, then the person will \u76d6\u7ae0<\/strong>(stamp [the documents]).\u00a0 You’ll notice that some lines move faster than the one for \u5916\u56fd\u4eba<\/strong>\uff08foreigners)\uff0c specifically those for \u56fd\u6c11<\/strong> (citizens) and \u5916\u4ea4<\/strong> (diplomatic) channels.\u00a0 If you are a foreigner, make it your business to \u767b\u8bb0<\/strong> at a police station within 24 hours of arrival.\u00a0 It will make a lot of things easier.<\/p>\n
