In the outskirts of Beijing, it’s possible to hike from the old, wild Great Wall to the newer, tourist friendly section. Starting out at Jiankou (\u526a\u53e3), you can see how the Wall was when it was built hundreds of years ago. After a few hours of hiking on the rugged terrain, you arrive at Mutianyu (\u6155\u7530\u5cea), which makes for a much easier walk and provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. If your feet are too tired to hike back down, just hop on the cable car or zoom down in a toboggan!<\/p>\n
