It\u2019s also something you\u2019d say after a nice evening spent together with someone: <b>Det var hyggeligt!<\/b> (It\u2019s been a pleasure!)<\/p>\n<p><b>at hygge sig <\/b>\u2013 the verb, with the meaning \u201denjoy oneself (in a <b>hyggelig<\/b> way)\u201d: <b>Hygger I jer?<\/b> (Are you guys having a good time?) <b>De hyggede sig rigtigt meget i sofaen.<\/b> (They really enjoyed themselves in the sofa.) <b>Hyg dig!<\/b> (Have fun!)<\/p>\n<p><b>at hygge<\/b> \u2013 the verb can also be used without the <b>sig<\/b> part (but not everywhere \u2013 you can\u2019t say <b><i>\u201dHyg!\u201d<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i>without the <b>dig<\/b> part!)\u00a0 Without the reflexive pronoun (<b>mig, dig, sig, os, jer<\/b>), it\u2019s a bit more informal, though: <b>Nu skal vi rigtigt hygge!<\/b> (Now we\u2019re really gonna have a good time!)<\/p>\n<p><b>en hygger<\/b> is slang for someone who <b>hygger<\/b> a lot or enjoys <b>at hygge sig<\/b>: <b>Vi er s\u00e5dan nogle \u201dhyggere\u201d!<\/b> (We are that kind of \u201dhyggers\u201d!)<\/p>\n<p>The word <b>hygge<\/b> can be combined with almost anything. <b>Aftenhygge<\/b> is the kind of <b>hygge<\/b> you have in the evening \u2013 <b>sofahygge<\/b> takes place in a sofa, and so on! \ud83d\ude42 Maybe you sit in the sofa eating <b>hyggeslik <\/b>(<b>hygge<\/b> candy) while having a <b>hyggesnak<\/b> (<b>hygge <\/b>talk) or <b>hyggesludder <\/b>(<b>hygge<\/b> chat) with a friend. A waitress spontaneously came up with the word <b>hyggethe<\/b> (<b>hygge<\/b> tea) when I asked for some <b>hygge<\/b> input! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>If this is too much <b>hygge<\/b> for you, there is a word for that as well! According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/ordnet.dk\/ddo\/ordbog?query=hyggenygge&amp;select=hyggenygge,1\">dictionary<\/a>, the word <b>hyggenygge <\/b>means \u201d<b>intens el. overdreven hygge<\/b>\u201d (intense or exaggerated <b>hygge<\/b>).<\/p>\n<p>Do you know any fun uses of the word <b>hygge<\/b>?
