S\u00e5 er det efter\u00e5r! <\/strong>(Then it\u2019s autumn!) Before the sofa<\/strong> swallows you, here is a reminder to keep moving\u2026<\/p>\n

Man kan bev\u00e6ge sig p\u00e5 mange forskellige m\u00e5der.<\/strong> (One can move in many different ways.) Legs and feet make it possible at g\u00e5, at l\u00f8be, at hoppe, at sparke<\/strong> (to walk, to run, to jump, to kick). Some special varieties include:
\nDe er nede at vandre i Alperne<\/strong> (They\u2019re \u201ddown\u201d walking in the Alps)
\nPigerne hinkede i frikvarteret<\/strong> (The girls were hopping on one foot in the school break)
\nHan snublede p\u00e5 vej ind i lokalet<\/strong> (He stumbled on hus way into the room)
\nDe listede sig af sted igennem skoven<\/strong> (They were stealing\/tiptoeing through the forest)
\nSlingrer ned ad Vestergade<\/strong> (Reeling down Vestergade Street \u2013 classical song<\/a> by the Danish band Gnags)<\/p>\n

Arms and hands further enable us at gribe, at l\u00f8fte, at b\u00e6re, at klatre, at sv\u00f8mme, at omfavne nogen<\/strong> (to catch, to lift, to carry, to climb, to swim, to embrace somebody):
\nDrengen aede marsvinet<\/strong> (The boy patted\/stroke the guinea pig)
\nDronningen vinker fra skibet<\/strong> (The Queen is waving from the ship)
\nHun famlede i m\u00f8rket<\/strong> (She was groping in the dark)
\nDe knipsede til musikken<\/strong> (They were snapping their fingers to the music)
\nPublikum klapper <\/strong>(The audience applauds)<\/p>\n

Of course there are countless other ways to move, but for bev\u00e6gelser<\/strong> (movements) excluding our legs\/feet and arms\/hands, the vocabulary is more limited. We may tr\u00e6kke p\u00e5 skuldrene<\/strong> (shrug our shoulders), nikke<\/strong> (nod), ryste p\u00e5 hovedet<\/strong> (shake our head), rynke panden<\/strong> (knit our brows), tr\u00e6kke vejret<\/strong> (breathe), skyde ryg som en kat<\/strong> (arch our backs like a cat), vrikke med hofterne<\/strong> (wiggle our hips) and lukke \u00f8jnene<\/strong> (close our eyes). If you can\u2019t fl\u00f8jte<\/strong> (whistle), skele<\/strong> (squint) or vrikke med \u00f8rerne <\/strong>(wiggle your ears), at least you can gabe<\/strong> (yawn) or r\u00e6kke tunge<\/strong> (stick out your tongue).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\"\"
