{"id":1385,"date":"2011-05-21T18:20:53","date_gmt":"2011-05-21T18:20:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/dutch\/?p=1385"},"modified":"2014-07-18T15:06:34","modified_gmt":"2014-07-18T15:06:34","slug":"stroopwafel-cake-stroopwafelcake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/dutch\/stroopwafel-cake-stroopwafelcake\/","title":{"rendered":"Stroopwafel + Cake = Stroopwafelcake!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week I wrote about a very popular food item here in the Netherlands \u2013 the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/dutch\/the-humble-stroopwafel\/\" target=\"_blank\">stroopwafel<\/a>.\u00a0 Judging by the amount of comments and likes that post received, it seems that the stroopwafel is also very popular outside of the Netherlands!\u00a0 Seeing how delicious so many of you found stroopwafels, I knew I had to share with you a recipe for stroopwafelcake that I saw on Albert Heijn\u2019s website in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ah.nl\/recepten\" target=\"_blank\">recipe section<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Can you understand all the ingredients and directions?\u00a0 I have included some hints\/translations after the recipe.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to share photos of your cake if you go ahead and make one.<\/p>\n<p>Eet smakelijk!!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>STROOPWAFELCAKE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredi\u00ebnten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 200 gr. zachte boter + wat boter voor de vorm<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 150 gr. suiker<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 50 gr. bruine basterdsuiker<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 zakje vanillesuiker<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 4 eieren<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 200 gr. zelfrijzend bakmeel + wat extra voor de vorm<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 theel. kaneel<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 mespunt zout<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 200 gr. stroopwafels in kleine stukjes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materialen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 oven cakevorm van ca.30cm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bereiden<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Vet de cakevorm in en bestrooi met bloem.<\/li>\n<li>Klop de boter met de suiker tot een zachte romige massa.<\/li>\n<li>Klop \u00e9\u00e9n voor \u00e9\u00e9n de eieren erdoor.<\/li>\n<li>Voeg beetje bij beetje het zelfrijzend bakmeel erdoor en zout en kaneel.<\/li>\n<li>Roer met een lepel de stukjes stroopwafel door het deeg.<\/li>\n<li>Vul de cakevorm met het deeg.<\/li>\n<li>Zet de vorm met het deeg in het midden van de KOUDE oven.<\/li>\n<li>Zet de oven op 170 gr.C.en bak de cake in ca.70 minuten bruin en gaar.\u00a0 Prik voor je de cake uit de oven haalt even met een breipen of sat\u00e9prikker om te cotroleren of de cake echt gaar is.\u00a0 Zit hier geen deeg aan dan kun je de cake uit de oven halen.<\/li>\n<li>Laat de cake ongeveer 10 minuten in de vorm rusten en daarna uit de vorm op een rooster afkoelen.<\/li>\n<li>Heerlijk bij een kopje koffie of thee !<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Some Translations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Vet de cakevorm in en bestrooi met bloem.<\/em> &#8211;&gt; Fill\u00a0the\u00a0cake pan\u00a0with the dough.<\/p>\n<p><em>Heerlijk bij een kopje koffie of thee!<\/em> &#8211;&gt; Great with\u00a0a\u00a0cup of\u00a0coffee\u00a0or\u00a0tea!<\/p>\n<p><em>Zet de vorm met het deeg in het midden van de KOUDE oven.<\/em> &#8211;&gt;
