An important verb, I\u2019m sure you will agree. For example, you can use it to show that you have an item:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Ik heb een nieuwe auto.<\/em> (I have a new car.)<\/p>\n<p>You can also use it to show that you have enough of something:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Heb je genoeg geld?<\/em> (Do you have enough money?)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Ja hoor, ik heb genoeg.<\/em> (Yes, I have enough.)<\/p>\n<p>You might have noticed that in question form, when the verb is moved to the first position and is followed by<em> jij<\/em> or <em>je<\/em>, that it drops its ending (<em>heb je?<\/em>).
