This question was posed at the 50th anniversary of the\u00a0<em>Ster\u00a0<\/em><em>Gouden Loeki<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>this year. Normally, the best commercial of the year is chosen. Since last Wednesday, it was the 50th\u00a0anniversary of <em>Ster<\/em>, the best commercial of all time was to be elected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The election process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An independent panel chose the top 50, and a expert jury then chose the top 12, which you can find\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.libelle.nl\/actueel\/nieuws\/ster-reclame\">here <\/a>&#8211; which one is your favorite?<\/p>\n<p>My favorite is the <i>stoplicht\u00a0<\/i>(traffic light)\u00a0commercial. Genius! Another one that makes me chuckle is the\u00a0<em>Goeiemoggel\u00a0<\/em>one from KPN. Because of T9, and bad autocorrect, the employees in the commercial send misspelled emails all the time, which goes so far that they even talk like that!<\/p>\n<p>I also very much like the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/dutch\/campaings-in-nl-2-even-apeldoorn-bellen\/\">Even Apeldoorn Bellen<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>commercials, of which the <em>Klok\u00a0<\/em>(clock)\u00a0was\u00a0in the top 12. They are always funny and good. Seven of them have previously received a\u00a0<em>Gouden Loeki\u00a0<\/em>for best commercial of the year.<\/p>\n<p>So, the big question&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Wat is de beste reclame OOIT?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ROLO Olifant\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EwanPC3Bn6s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Rolo commercial from the 90s!<\/p>\n<p>It underlines their slogan &#8220;<i>bedenk goed, wat je met je laatste rolo doet<\/i>&#8221; (think\u00a0twice what you do with your last rolo!), which is a play on the saying &#8220;elephants never forget&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial from 1996 was already very successful back in those days, as many people can still today finish the sentence &#8220;<em>bedenk goed, wat je met je laatste&#8230;<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands often has funny commercials, I think!<\/p>\n<p>What about your country?
