{"id":1141,"date":"2012-05-15T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2012-05-15T13:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/english\/?p=1141"},"modified":"2012-05-08T22:40:11","modified_gmt":"2012-05-09T02:40:11","slug":"post-editing-part-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/english\/post-editing-part-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"Post Editing (Part II)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><del>Todays<\/del> (Today&#8217;s) post is a little different than my usual posts.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve written this post with a number of common <del>grammer<\/del> (grammar) and spelling errors in it that I want you to find.\u00a0 This is like a game of ESL hide-and-seek!<\/p>\n<p><del>Tomorrow<\/del> (Tomorrow) I will re-post this exact same passage highlighting all the errors that I have made so you can see if you found all the <del>mistake<\/del> (mistakes).\u00a0 Good luck finding all grammar and spelling errors in this post!<\/p>\n<p>Here is a little story&#8230;<br \/>\n<del>Their<\/del> (There) is a <del>women<\/del> (woman) named Mary who lives in a small cabin in the woods.\u00a0 She <del>have<\/del> (has) been living in this same cabin\u00a0 her <del>hole<\/del> (whole) life.\u00a0 She <del>don&#8217;t<\/del> (doesn&#8217;t) know what she would do if she couldn&#8217;t <del>life<\/del> (live) there <del>any more<\/del> (anymore) as <del>its<\/del> (it&#8217;s) the only place that feels like home to her.\u00a0 In the forest <del>wear<\/del> (where) <del>m<\/del>ary (Mary) lives there are many trees, a river, and of course animals that Mary <del>know<\/del> (knows) <del>good<\/del> (well).\u00a0 <del>Their<\/del> (there) are more animals living in and <del>a round<\/del> (around) <del>Marys<\/del> (Mary&#8217;s) house than you could <del>possibility<\/del> (possibly) imagine.\u00a0 The <del>bigger<\/del> (biggest) animals are bears, the bears are bigger than the <del>deers<\/del> (deer), rabbits, and squirrels, but the <del>mouses<\/del> (mice) are the smallest animals of all.\u00a0 Mary <del>grew<\/del> (grows) her own food in the garden <em>next<\/em> (next to) her house.\u00a0 <del>Her<\/del> (she) grows food in her garden in all <del>the sumer<\/del> (summer) and <del>than<\/del> (then) stores it in cans and <del>botles<\/del> (bottles) to be <del>aten<\/del> (eaten) during the winter when fresh <del>foods<\/del> (food) <del>are<\/del> (is) hard to find.\u00a0 Mary <del>don&#8217;t<\/del> (doesn&#8217;t) need to buy any <del>foods<\/del> (food) from the grocery store in fact, she gets all she needs from the woods.\u00a0 Her life is simple(<strong>,<\/strong>) but happy.<\/p>\n<p>How did you do?\u00a0 I hope you were able to spot most of these errors.
