This coming weekend is the biggest game in American football, the Super Bowl!\u00a0 Football is one of American\u2019s favorite sports.\u00a0 The football season that runs from September to the beginning of February every year takes over many American\u2019s lives.\u00a0 During this season 32 different professional football teams play each other in games every Sunday (and there are also a few weekday games each week).\u00a0 Sundays during football season, become known as \u201cFootball Sunday\u201d and \u201cGame Day.\u201d Millions of Americans watch football games on Sundays.\u00a0 The biggest Sunday of the season is \u201cSuper Bowl Sunday\u201d and this upcoming Super Bowl Sunday has an added twist that is going to make the game even more interesting and exciting for many people to watch.<\/p>\n
The two teams playing in the Super Bowl this year are the Baltimore Ravens (ravens are a type of black bird) and the San Francisco 49ers (\u201c49ers\u201d was the name given to men who traveled from around the world to San Francisco, California in 1849 during the California gold rush.\u00a0 These were men searching for gold).\u00a0 Here is where the interesting twist comes in.\u00a0 The two men who coach these two teams in the Super Bowl this year are brothers; there names are Jim Harbaugh and John Harbaugh.\u00a0 These brothers are also the sons of a lifelong football coach.\u00a0 Obviously football was very important in the Harbaugh family!\u00a0 This is the first time in history that two brothers will coach against each other in the Super Bowl.\u00a0 Some Americans are even calling this the \u201cBrother Bowl\u201d for that reason.\u00a0 Other people are talking about this game as \u201cHarbaugh vs. Harbaugh\u201d not \u2018Ravens vs. 49ers\u2019.<\/p>\n
