Who&#8217;s this?<\/p>\n<p>B: It&#8217;s Pip.<\/p>\n<p>A: <strong>Hang on just a second <\/strong>(wait a minute), Pip\u2026 Sasha, phone&#8217;s for you.<\/p>\n<p>C: Who is it?<\/p>\n<p>A: It&#8217;s Pip.<\/p>\n<p>C: Hey, <strong>what&#8217;s up <\/strong>(slang way to say &#8220;What are you doing?&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>B: Nothing. Just <strong>chillin<\/strong>&#8216; (relaxing) at home. How bout you?<\/p>\n<p>C:\u00a0 Just hanging out.<\/p>\n<p>B: You wanna <strong>grab a bite <\/strong>(go out for food)?<\/p>\n<p>C: Sure, what were you thinking?<\/p>\n<p>B: Let&#8217;s just go out and find something. I&#8217;m <strong>down for whatever <\/strong>(I&#8217;ll eat anything).<\/p>\n<p>C: Sounds good\u2026 I&#8217;m <strong>starving <\/strong>(really hungry).<\/p>\n<p>B: Meet ya down there <strong>in ten <\/strong>(minutes)?<\/p>\n<p>C: Cool see ya then .<\/p>\n<p>B: Later.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Formal Call:<\/h2>\n<p>A: Good afternoon, this is Rachel. How may I help you?<\/p>\n<p>B: Hello. Is Mr. Savinov available?<\/p>\n<p>A: May I ask who&#8217;s calling?<\/p>\n<p>B: My name is Mr. Wilson. I&#8217;m calling in regards to our meeting this week.<\/p>\n<p>A: Would you mind holding for a minute, Mr. Wilson?<\/p>\n<p>B: Not at all.<\/p>\n<p>A: Thanks so much.<\/p>\n<p>C: Hello.<\/p>\n<p>A: Mr. Savinov, you have a phone call from a Mr. Wilson about a meeting this week.<\/p>\n<p>C: Great. <strong>Put him through <\/strong>(transfer the call to me). Hello, Mr. Wilson. What can I do for you?<\/p>\n<p>B: Hi, Mr. Savinov. I was just calling to confirm the details of our meeting. What&#8217;s a good time for you?<\/p>\n<p>A: Well I&#8217;m pretty <strong>swamped<\/strong>\u00a0(very busy) tomorrow. How about 10 o&#8217;clock on Friday?<\/p>\n<p>B: I may not be able to make it at ten. Would 10:30 be OK?<\/p>\n<p>A: Sure that works for me.
