Today we are going to look at both of these good luck sayings and charms. First I\u2019ll review a number of ways to wish someone good luck, then I\u2019ll present some different good luck charms. Let&#8217;s get started.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good luck sayings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>good luck<\/em><br \/>\nExample: A: \u201cI\u2019m leaving for my first work trip tomorrow.\u201d B: \u201cGood luck!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>best of luck<\/em><br \/>\nExample: \u201cBest of luck in your interview later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>wishing you all the best<\/em><br \/>\nExample: \u201cWe are wishing you all the best with your move.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>cross my fingers<\/em><br \/>\nExample: \u201cI\u2019ll keep my fingers crossed for you and your husband.\u201d or \u201c I hope you get the scholarship, I\u2019ll cross my fingers for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>break a leg<\/em> (used to wish a person good luck with a performance)<br \/>\nExample: \u201cGo out there and break a leg.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>may the force be with you<\/em> (a reference to the movie Star Wars)<br \/>\nExample: A: \u201cI\u2019m about to give my big presentation.\u201d B: \u201cMay the force be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lucky charms:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>four leaf clover<\/em><br \/>\nIt is considered good luck to find a four leaf clover because they are rare, most clovers only have three leaves. If you find one you should keep it to bring yourself luck.<\/p>\n<p><em>rabbit\u2019s foot<\/em><br \/>\nA rabbit\u2019s foot is believed to be lucky in many cultures in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America.<\/p>\n<p><em>horseshoe<\/em><br \/>\nSome people believe hanging a horseshoe (with the pointed ends up) brings good luck to the place where it is hanging. Some sailors used to nail horseshoe to the masts of their ships for good luck at sea.<\/p>\n<p><em>ladybug<\/em><br \/>\nIf a ladybug lands on you this is considered lucky. Unlike many other insects ladybugs don\u2019t bite, which may be why they are considered lucky.\u00a0 They are also very pretty.<\/p>\n<p><em>rainbow<\/em><br \/>\nIt is supposedly lucky to see a rainbow and it is even more lucky to see a double rainbow!
