This is a challenge to see how well you know different English vocabulary and slang from the north and south of the English-speaking world!<\/p>\n<p>Although English is just one language, it certainly doesn\u2019t always seem that way at times. When you hear all the different dialects and diverse vocabulary used by native English speakers all around the world you may wonder: is that really English? What are they saying? Even as a native English speaker, I am still learning new words in English, especially when I travel to other English-speaking countries, like New Zealand, Australia, or Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve pulled together a list of unique vocabulary from \u201cdown under\u201d or New Zealand and Australia to challenge you with today.<\/p>\n<p>Click here to take the quiz: <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2015\/04\/North-South-Vocabulary.pdf\">North-South Vocabulary<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the attached file there are pairs of sentences.
