This is the largest privately owned house in the United States. It\u2019s a beautiful place to visit and it\u2019s quite huge. You\u2019ll need at least half a day to explore the home and the gardens. Be sure you stop in the village before you leave to enjoy a tour and a tasting at the winery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Next up, we\u2019re headed downtown. If you\u2019re visiting on a Friday, you can catch the big drum circle in Pritchard Park. Even if you don\u2019t have a drum to bang on, you\u2019re welcome to show up and dance! A common sight in Asheville is groups of musicians busking &#8211; this is when you play on the street for tips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">You may even see a pub-cycle ride by. It\u2019s a moving bar on a bicycle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">While you\u2019re down here, you should take the old school elevator up to Sky Bar. They\u2019ve got great cocktails here and even better views of Asheville. Here you\u2019ll see why it\u2019s known as the Land of the Sky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">You\u2019ve got lots of choices for dinner downtown. One of my favorites is the Blue Dream Curry House. Try one of their delicious naan tacos or just stick to a classic green curry, and pair it with a North Carolina craft beer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Speaking of craft beer, it\u2019s everywhere here!
