in English.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some simple short expressions of thanks that stand on their own:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you.<\/strong>\u00a0 (basic)<br \/>\n<strong>Thanks.<\/strong>\u00a0 (informal)<br \/>\n<strong>Thank you so much!<\/strong>\u00a0 (emphatic*)<br \/>\n<strong>Thanks a lot<\/strong>!\u00a0 (emphatic)<\/p>\n<p>Here are the beginning of sentences that can be used to express thanks:<\/p>\n<p><strong>I appreciate<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Example: I appreciate all you have given me.)<br \/>\n<strong>I am very grateful for<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Example: I am very grateful for all of your help.)<br \/>\n<strong>Please accept my thanks for<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0 (Example: Please accept my thanks for all you have done for my family.)<br \/>\n<strong>I&#8217;d like to express my gratitude<\/strong>&#8230;.\u00a0 (Example: I&#8217;d like to express my gratitude for all the presents you sent me.)<br \/>\n<strong>I&#8217;d like to thank you for<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0 (Example: I&#8217;d like to thank you for all the food you brought to Christmas dinner.)<br \/>\n<strong>I really can&#8217;t thank you enough<\/strong>&#8230;\u00a0 (Example: I really can&#8217;t thank you enough for all you have done.)<\/p>\n<p>You can also thank a person before she or he has given you a present or done a favor for you, here is how:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you in advance for<\/strong>&#8230;.\u00a0 (Example: Thank you in advance for picking the children up from school.)<br \/>\n<strong>Thanks for taking the time to<\/strong>&#8230;.\u00a0 (Example:\u00a0 Thanks for taking the time to come over and help me with all the cooking.)<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, here are some ways of saying thank you, without saying the words &#8220;thank you.&#8221;\u00a0 These are some expression you can use to let a person know you are thankful for an action they have done that was helpful to you:<\/p>\n<p><strong>I owe you one.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>You&#8217;re my hero!<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>That was a real life saver.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>You are the best.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>I couldn&#8217;t have done it without you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Showing or giving emphasis;
