\nThe purpose of my double language posts is to write in Esperanto, rather than about Esperanto.
\nI believe we all agree that it\u2019s not hard to find an Esperanto freak ready to sing the Green Star Flag anthem (OK, I just made this up), if there is one.<\/em><\/p>\n

I am no Esperanto freak and, if the last thing you can expect from me is a grammar lesson, the next to last is to see me joining these endless discussions, e.g., on whether the Interlingua is a better candidate than Esperanto as an international language.
\nHonestly, I couldn\u2019t care less.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then, speaking of the eternal issue of politics not supporting Esperanto enough, let me just say this: in my opinion, helping a language to spread is not about raising funds.
\nIt\u2019s about providing contents in that language.
\nAre there lots of contents? People will start studying the language to access the contents.
\nIt\u2019s an offer driven, not a demand driven process.<\/em><\/p>\n

Today, if you search the Internet, 99% of the stuff you find on Esperanto is about bloody linguistics.
\nAnd it\u2019s not even serious linguistics.
\nIt\u2019s the butcher with his shop in a secondary street of Istanbul, or Buenos Aires, or Sidney, who suddenly turns himself into a new Zamenhof, as soon as he sits in front of a pc.<\/em><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the university student in Riga or in Osaka who, rather than studying for his exams, invents a new constructed language, which he believes to be better than Esperanto, and then spends about 20 pages on the Internet trying to prove his point.<\/em><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong, Esperanto is no perfect language, so maybe the student is right. Maybe he does have a point.
\nGood point or not, I still think he should spend much more time with a partner than a dictionary.<\/em><\/p>\n

This is no contest to create the best, flawless, hyper-cool, constructed language.
\nIt\u2019s never been like that.
\nThis is about enabling people to communicate and exchange information in an easy, affordable, yet accurate way.
\nEsperanto allows that; Interlingua allows that; the university student (maybe) allows that too, although his partner probably would disagree.<\/em><\/p>\n

Therefore, from now on, do not be too surprised if \u2013 more often than not \u2013 I\u2019ll speak about anything except the international language. But I\u2019ll do it using the international language.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mi ne estas esperantmaniulo kaj, se la lasta afero, kiun vi pavas atendi de mi estas gramatika leciono, la anta\u016dlasta estas vidi min partopreni en tiaj senfinaj debatoj pri, ekzempe, se la interlingvo estas pli bona propono ol la esperantlingvo, kiel internacia lingvo.

Krome, koncerne la eternan demandon pri la politiko, kiu nesufi\u0109e subtenas la esperantlingvon, bonvole lasu min diri nure \u0109i tion: la\u016d mi, la helpo en la disvastigo de lingvo ne rilatas la monkolekton.
\n\u011ci rilatas la kreon de enhavoj en tiu lingvo.
\n\u0108u estas multe da enhavoj? Personoj komencos la studon de la lingvo por profiti la enhavojn.
\nTiu estas procezo emigita de oferto, ne de mendo.<\/p>\n

Hodia\u016d, se vi ser\u0109as en la Interreto, 99 procentoj de la a\u0135oj, kiujn vi trovas pri la esperanta koncernas la a\u0109an lingvistikon. Kaj tia e\u0109 ne estas grava lingvistiko.
\nEstas la a\u0109a viandisto kun lia butiko en duaranga strato de Istanbul, a\u016d de Buenos Aires, a\u016d de Sidney, kiu subite transformi\u011das en nova Zamenhof, \u0135us li sidi\u011das anta\u016de komputilo.<\/p>\n

Estas la studento en Riga a\u016d en Osaka, kiu antasta\u016d la studon por liaj ekzamenoj, preferas la inventon de nova planlingvo, kiun li kredas esti pli bona ol la esperanta, kaj poste bezonas \u0109irca\u016d dudek pa\u011dojn en la Interreto por pruvi lian tezon.<\/p>\n

Ne miskomprenu min, la esperanta ne estas perfekta lingvo, do la studento eble pravas. Eble lia argumento estas \u011dusta. Tamen, mi tute ne zorgas pri tio, \u0109iuokaze.
\nKaj bona kaj malbona argumento, mi ankora\u016d kredas, ke li devus seksumi multe pli ofle kun ampartnero, kaj multe malpli ofte kun vortaro.<\/p>\n

\u0108i tiu ne estas konkurso pri la kreo de la plej bona, perfekta, ultra-mirinda planlingvo.
\n\u011ci neniam estis tiel.<\/p>\n

Planlingvoj estas kreitaj por ebligi la komunikadon kaj la inter\u015dan\u011don de informoj inter homoj facile, malaltekoste kaj, malgra\u016d tio, precize.<\/p>\n

La esperanta konsentas \u011din; la interlingvo konsentas \u011din; anka\u016d la a\u0109a studento (eble) konsentas \u011din, malgra\u016d lia ampartnero ver\u015dajne ne konsentus.<\/p>\n

Sekve, ekde nun, ne estu tro surprizita se – pli ofte ol ne – mi parolos pri \u0109io escepte de la internacia lingvo. Sed mi faros tion uzante la internacian lingvon.<\/p>\n
