Hello.<\/em><\/p>\n

I am writing a brief post after the Easter break, just to talk to you about a man who has been doing so much for Esperanto.
\nIn one of my previous posts, I said that the spreading of a language is often due to the amount and the quality of contents made available in that language.
\nA language is a mean people use to access the contents.<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking of contents, one of the reasons that motivated me in studying and learning Esperanto is definitively the example provided by the web site of the Swedish “esperantisto” Bertil Wennergren. <\/em><\/p>\n

Member of the Academy of Esperanto and maintainer of the PMEG, the official Esperanto language grammar book, Bertil (or Bertilo, as he apparently prefers to be called), has been giving a massive contribution to help the international language spread all over the world in the last twenty years. <\/em><\/p>\n

Bertilo’s contribution concerns several domains, from grammar to literature, from computer programming to music.<\/em><\/p>\n

In music in particular, Bertilo has been the drummer of the Swedish Esperanto band “Persone”, a trio which has been gigging all over Europe in the Nineties, and for which he wrote almost the half of the songs. <\/em><\/p>\n

He also provided us with what is surely the most useful English \u2013 Esperanto thematic dictionary for pop music. If you do not know how to say something related to pop or rock music and you can’t find it anywhere, well, check Bertilo’s web site: you won’t be disappointed. <\/em><\/p>\n

About computers, beside coding the Open Office macros to convert English characters combinations into Esperanto characters and the first Esperanto version for WordPress, Bertilo also published the first Esperanto guide to configure the Open Source operating system Linux for UTF Esperanto characters, a mini guide for the VIM free text editor, an Esperanto character configuration guide for Windows and, of course, a very useful English \u2013 Esperanto IT dictionary, holding anything you can’t find practically anywhere else.<\/em><\/p>\n

His web site also provides up-to-date links to many other Esperanto-related resources, including a useful search engine.<\/em><\/p>\n

En unu el miaj anta\u016daj notoj, mi diris, ke la disvastigo de lingvo ofte dependas de la kvanto kaj de la kvalito de la disponeblaj enhavoj en tiu lingvo.<\/p>\n

Lingvo estas ilo, kiun homoj uzas por aliri la enhavojn.<\/p>\n

Parolante de la enhavoj, unu el la kialoj, kiuj instigis min en la studo kaj la lerno de la esperanta certe estas la ekzemplo venanta de la TTT-ejo de la sveda esperantisto Bertil Wennergren.<\/p>\n

Membro de la Akademio de Esperanto kaj editoro de la PMEG, la oficiala gramatiko de la esperantlingvo, Bertil (a\u016d Bertilo, kiel li \u015dajne preferas nomi sin), rimarkinde kontribuis al la disvastigo de la internacia lingvo tutmonde dum la lastaj dudek jaroj.<\/p>\n

La kontribua\u0135o de Bertilo rilatas plurajn domajnojn, el la gramatiko al la literaturo, el la komputila programado al la muziko.<\/p>\n

Speciale pri la muziko, Bertilo estis la tamburisto de la sveda esperantista rokbando “Persone”, trio kiu ludis \u0109ie en E\u016dropo dum la na\u016ddekaj jaroj, kaj por kiu li skribis preska\u016d la duonon de la kantoj.<\/p>\n

Aldone, li donacis al ni tion, kio certe estas la plej utila tema angla – esperanta vortaro por popmuziko. Se vi ne scias kiel diri a\u0135on pri la popmuziko a\u016d la rokmuziko kaj vi povas trovi \u011din nenie, do provu la TTT-ejon de Bertilo: vi ne estos elrevi\u011dintaj.<\/p>\n

Pri la komputiloj, krom la makrojn de OpenOffice por transformi la anglajn literojn en la esperantaj literoj kaj la unuan esperantan version de WordPress, Bertilo eldonis anka\u016d la unuan esperantan gvidlibron pri la regulado de la libera mastruma sistemo Linux por la UTF supersignaj literoj de la esperanta, etan gvidilon por la libera tekstredaktilo VIM, gvidilon pri la uzo de la esperantaj literoj en Windows kaj, anta\u016dsupozeble, tre utilan komputadan anglan – esperantan leksikonon, kiu enhavas ion, kion vi povas trovi preska\u016d nenie alia.<\/p>\n

Aldone, lia TTT-ejo enhavas \u011disdatajn ligilojn pri multaj aliaj interrilataj rimedoj, inter kiuj estas utila ser\u0109ilo.<\/p>\n
