(Part 1 of 2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Ok, so after my last blog post, you\u2019ve decided you want to sign up for an Esperanto conference, great! \u00a0But you looked at the website and saw ali\u011dilo, kotiztabelo, memzorgantejo and landkategorio. \u00a0Ok, you may understand those words, but what do they mean in context? \u00a0Well, Transparent Language to the rescue! \u00a0To sign up, you\u2019ll have to find the registration form (ali\u011dilo, literally: joining tool). \u00a0You fill out basic contact information and then you have some decisions to make.<\/p>\n<p>How long do you want to stay? \u00a0How much luxury do you want in your sleeping arrangements? \u00a0Do you want to eat in the cafeteria or prepare your own food? \u00a0Want to contribute to the program as in give a lecture or help out in some other way, like serving tea in the gufujo? \u00a0How will you pay? \u00a0Aaaah, so many questions! \u00a0But, if you\u2019re like most Americans, you love options, but more than that, you like to be informed about the options you have, so let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n<p>How long do you want to stay? \u00a0Note that the program cost is often the same no matter how long you stay. \u00a0Also, the cost for staying overnight with food is often the same for say 3-5 days as for the \u201cflat rate\u201d of the entire week to encourage people to stay longer. \u00a0So, paying for the program also brings up these landkategoriojn. \u00a0Let\u2019s look at an example of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jes.pej.pl\/2010\/pagoj.php\">kotiztabelo<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jes.pej.pl\/\">Junulara E-Semajno<\/a>:<\/p>\n<h5>PROGRAMKOTIZO<\/h5>\n<p>La kotizo dependas de via a\u011do kaj lo\u011dlando, tamen ne dependas de longeco de via partopreno en la aran\u011do.
