Venir de<\/em> <\/em>conjugated in the present tense and followed by the infinitive is the equivalent of to have just + past participle<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Elle vient d’arriver.<\/em> (She has just arrived.)
\nIls viennent de faire leurs devoirs.<\/em> (They have just done their homework.)<\/p>\n

It is an irregular -ir<\/em> verb and is conjugated in the present tense like this:<\/p>\n

je viens
\ntu viens
\nil\/elle\/on vient
\nnous venons
\nvous venez
\nils\/elles viennent<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

There are other verbs that are conjugated in the present tense in the same way; in other words, with the same suffixes, and they are: devenir<\/em> (to become), revenir<\/em> (to come back), se souvenir de<\/em> (to remember), tenir<\/em> (to hold) and obtenir <\/em>(to obtain).<\/p>\n
