I\u2019m not saying it\u2019s right, but la gueule de bois<\/strong> <\/em>seems almost inevitable after a big night out. So, in the constant struggle to live my life like the French, what else but to explore… French hangover cures?<\/p>\n

Avoir la gueule de bois<\/em><\/strong> (to have a hangover) is defined well by medecine-et-sante.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n

-Boire de l\u2019eau<\/em>:<\/strong> Drink water, \u00ab\u00a0en m\u00eame temps ou apr\u00e8s l’absorption d’alcool pour favoriser son \u00e9limination et \u00e9viter la d\u00e9shydratation<\/em> \u00bb (at the same time or after the absorption of alcohol, to encourage its elimination and to avoid dehydration).<\/p>\n

But eating can help.<\/p>\n

– Prenez des pauses pour manger<\/em><\/strong> un peu<\/strong> : des hydrates de carbone et du sucre, notamment<\/em>. (Take some time out to eat a little\u00a0: carbohydrates and sugar, notably.) No problem there!<\/p>\n

– Choisissez le vin blanc plut\u00f4t que le rouge<\/em><\/strong>, les alcools blancs (vodka, geni\u00e8vre, rhum blanc, etc.) plut\u00f4t que ceux qui sont color\u00e9s (cognac, whisky, rhum ambr\u00e9 ou brun, etc.). <\/em>(Choose white <\/strong>wine over red, white alcohols (vodka, genever\/gin, white rum, etc.) over those that are colored <\/strong>(cognac, whisky, amber or brown rum, etc.). Interesting.<\/p>\n
