Yet another one of those <em>verlan <\/em>(backslang) words,\u00a0it comes\u00a0from the (French slang as well) word <em>&#8220;<strong>mec<\/strong>&#8221; <\/em>meaning a &#8220;guy&#8221;, a &#8220;dude.&#8221;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"generique les minikeums\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_dNWQ_Vnk8U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><em>&#8220;Les MiniKeums&#8221;, le\u00a0test: Ask anyone who grew up as child in France in\u00a0the 90&#8217;s if they knew &#8220;les MiniKeums<\/em>&#8220;&#8230; <em>Une question plut\u00f4t rh\u00e9torique <\/em>(A\u00a0rather rhetorical question)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">* KIF-KIF:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><\/strong>If you heard\u00a0someone tell you not to worry, because <em>&#8220;<strong>c&#8217;est kif-kif<\/strong>&#8220;<\/em>, what does it mean?<br \/>\nIt simply means that &#8220;either way, it&#8217;s just the same&#8221;, &#8220;it makes no difference.&#8221;<br \/>\nWhether you say:<em> &#8220;<strong>C&#8217;est bonnet blanc et blanc bonnet<\/strong>&#8220;, <\/em>or &#8220;<strong><em>C&#8217;est<\/em> <em>kif-kif<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;, in fact,\u00a0&#8220;<em>c&#8217;est du pareil au m\u00eame&#8221; <\/em>(&#8220;It amounts to the same.&#8221;)\u00a0<em><br \/>\nPig\u00e9<\/em> (Get it?)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">* KL\u00c9BARD\/KL\u00c9BS:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Un kl\u00e9bard <\/em>or <em>un kl\u00e9bs <\/em>is a dog. Like we saw for the argot\u00a0word &#8220;<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/b-a-ba-argot-c\/\">cabot<\/a><\/strong><\/em>&#8221; and the\u00a0lovely expression of &#8220;<strong><em>sac\u00a0\u00e0 puces<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; (flea bag!), French people seem to never run out of particularly\u00a0affectionate\u00a0<em>sobriquets<\/em> in order to\u00a0catch the attention of their\u00a0beloved <em><strong>toutous<\/strong> <\/em>(&#8220;little puppies.&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>Want more?
