In less than 24 hours, the 2014<\/strong>\u00a0Eurovision<\/strong>\u00a0grande finale<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>will be taking place.<\/p>\n

Six pays<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(six countries) are en lice<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(battling it out)\u00a0for\u00a0la<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>premi\u00e8re place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What does France has to offer this time, you may reluctantly wonder?<\/p>\n

A group whose chanson<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(song)\u00a0seems to\u00a0hint at the general\u00a0zeitgeist\u00a0<\/em>reigning a bit everywhere in the\u00a0world: the “I-got-many-things-but-I-still-want-more” kind of syndrome.<\/p>\n

Of course, without reading too much into it, their song can be viewed\u00a0as a tongue-in-cheek satire of the “jamais contents, jamais<\/strong>\u00a0satisfaits<\/strong><\/em>“\u00a0<\/strong>(“never happy, never satisfied”) kind of people…<\/p>\n

Fine,\u00a0bien essay\u00e9<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(good try.)<\/p>\n

But will that be\u00a0suffisant<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(enough) for them to earn the first prize?<\/p>\n

Unless, of course, the European jury decides that, instead of a French\u00a0moustache<\/strong><\/em>, they would instead have an\u00a0Austrian\u00a0barbe<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(beard) ! ! !<\/p>\n
