\nRock and roll isn\u2019t always the type of music you think of when you think of France, but le rock fran\u00e7ais<\/strong> (French rock) is a real thing and it\u2019s not something to be skipped over. Similar to elsewhere in the world, there was a bit of an explosion of alternative rock in the 90s in France that resulted in many groups that are still well known today. One of those groups was Louise Attaque<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Their tube<\/strong> (hit) that everyone knows and that still gets plays on the radio today is the song, J\u2019t\u2019emm\u00e8ne Au Vent<\/em>. The song was a huge tube<\/strong>, and even today if J\u2019t\u2019emm\u00e8ne Au Vent<\/em> starts playing in France, everyone will start singing along to the familiar tune.<\/p>\n

Louise Attaque<\/em> manages to mix the sounds of more modern rock with a traditional folky sound, even having a violin prominently featured. \u00c9coutez-le<\/strong> (listen to it) and try to sing along to la chanson entra\u00eenante<\/strong> (the catchy song).<\/p>\n
