A big part of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-around-the-world-la-francophonie\/\">la francophonie<\/a> in North America is <strong>Canada<\/strong>, with it&#8217;s large francophone population.<\/p>\n<p>If you have ever tried looking for content <strong>en qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois<\/strong> or in any variety of Canadian French, you might have noticed that it\u2019s not always the easy to find. Most sources for learning French use French from France and point you towards sources that use French from France. <strong>Heureusement, il y a la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Radio-Canada<\/strong>, which is the francophone equivalent of the <em>Canadian Broadcasting Corporation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-28703\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/03\/radio-2588503_960_720.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"798\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/03\/radio-2588503_960_720.jpg 960w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/03\/radio-2588503_960_720-350x233.jpg 350w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/03\/radio-2588503_960_720-768x510.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Radio-Canada<\/em> is a major source of easy to find French language content from <strong>la francophonie du Canada<\/strong>. <em>Radio-Canada<\/em> covers a wide range of television and radio productions. More importantly for someone learning French, a lot of their content is available for free on the internet!<\/p>\n<p>I like listening to the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/as-easy-as-rfi-easy-french\/\">radio<\/a> to practice my French, so I when I figured out how to listen to <a href=\"http:\/\/ici.radio-canada.ca\/premiere\">ICI Radio-Canada Premi\u00e8re<\/a>, the main radio station of <em>Radio-Canada<\/em>, <strong>j&#8217;\u00e9tais heureux<\/strong> (I was happy) to finally have an endless source of Canadian French. <strong>Le site web<\/strong> (the website) gives you information <strong>pour chaque \u00e9mission<\/strong> (for every show) while it broadcasts, making it easy to see the name of both <strong>l&#8217;\u00e9mission<\/strong> and <strong>les animateurs<\/strong> (the presenters).
