With international travel<\/a> there are a few things that you absolutely need to remember when you faites vos valises<\/strong> (pack your bags). In our electrically charged modern life, making sure you have all the right converters<\/em> for your appareils \u00e9lectroniques<\/strong> (electronic devices) is one of the most important things to remember.<\/p>\n

La puissance \u00e9lectronique et la tension<\/strong> (wattage and voltage) can change from country to country, and even if you have the right puissance \u00e9lectronique<\/strong>, la prise<\/strong> (the outlet) might also be different and need un autre adaptateur<\/strong> (another adapter)!<\/p>\n

Tired from all the travel, I went to look for le chargeur<\/strong> (the charger) when mon ordinateur<\/strong> (my computer) displayed the low battery message:<\/p>\n

Votre batterie est faible. Branchez votre PC sur secteur.<\/strong>
\nYour battery is low. Plug in your computer to an outlet.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Then I realized I forgot le chargeur<\/strong> en Floride<\/a> <\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I needed to buy a new one, but a lot of the technical vocabulary for les c\u00e2bles et les adaptateurs<\/strong> was unkown to me, and I wasn’t even sure if they would have the right chargeur<\/strong> for mon ordinateur<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I looked up the important words and went out (after checking to see which stores were open<\/a>). Une fois au magasin d\u2019informatique<\/a><\/strong> (once I was at the computer store), finding the right chargeur<\/strong> was easy. De plus<\/strong> (what\u2019s more) it worked perfectly with both mon ordinateur et <\/strong>la prise<\/strong> without any issues!<\/p>\n
