Modern TV shows are not always what I am looking for and it can be hard to access French TV outside of France. Heureusement<\/strong> (fortunately) there\u2019s a lot of content on the internet to meet your French needs!<\/p>\n

I have a few web-s\u00e9ries<\/strong> and Youtubers I like to watch, like Norman<\/a> or NesBlog<\/a>, and today I want to tell you all about une web s\u00e9rie<\/strong> I stumbled on to a few years ago is absolutely formidable<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Le nom de la s\u00e9rie<\/strong> (the name of the series), Noob<\/em> is un argot<\/a> anglais<\/strong> (English slang) for someone who is new to something. Le mot<\/strong> (the word) is often used in gaming<\/a> in both English and French. La s\u00e9rie<\/strong> was created by Fabien Fournier in 2008 and takes the idea of playing un jeu vid\u00e9o<\/a><\/strong> (video game) and creates a truly epic story out of it.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of blagues<\/a><\/strong> (jokes) that call attention to the fact that the actors are dans le jeu<\/strong> (in the game), adding a lot of humor to nearly every scene. Noob<\/em> has won international awards for its unique comedy and imaginative story.<\/p>\n

La s\u00e9rie<\/strong> begins with une jeune femme<\/strong> (a young woman) who wants to start playing un nouveau jeu de r\u00f4le en ligne massivement multijoueur<\/strong> (a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game, MMORPG, or more simply, a game like World of Warcraft<\/em>).<\/p>\n

The audience is then transported au monde du jeu<\/strong> (to the world of the game) where the story takes place. It\u2019s an adventure that plays on many st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes<\/strong> (clich\u00e9s) familiar to anyone who has played un MMORPG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Noob<\/em> goes beyond just une web-s\u00e9rie<\/strong> and includes des romans, des bande dessin\u00e9es et des films<\/strong> (novels, comics, and movies). Enough content to keep you entertained for a very long time!<\/p>\n
