These past few months I have had to constantly think about mon m\u00e9moire<\/a> et la soutenance<\/a><\/strong>. Now that I have finished my degree there\u2019s one question that everyone asks me: “Alors, qu\u2019est-ce que vous allez faire maintenant ?<\/strong>” (So, what are you going to do now?)<\/p>\n

La vie \u00e9tudiante<\/strong> (student life) gets you into a rhythm :<\/p>\n

Assister aux cours, \u00e9tudier, faire les devoirs, \u00e9crire les rapports<\/a>, attendre les r\u00e9sultats<\/strong>
\nGo to classes, study, do homework, write reports, wait for the results<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Things can change when dealing with un syst\u00e8me d’\u00e9ducation diff\u00e9rent<\/strong><\/a>. In France there\u2019s a constant wave of CM et TD<\/strong><\/a> and trying to get un vingt<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Regardless of where you are, time in a classroom is time spent learning new things and la vie \u00e9tudiante<\/strong> is a mix of stress and excitement.<\/p>\n

La vie d’un jeune dipl\u00f4m\u00e9<\/strong> (the life of a recent graduate) drastically changes things. Everything shifts to a new goal:<\/p>\n

Trouver un boulot<\/strong>
\nFind a job<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have to mettre \u00e0 jour mon CV<\/a><\/strong> (update your CV) and write many lettres de motivation<\/strong> (cover letters) – not forgetting la formule de politesse<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sometimes l’emploi id\u00e9al<\/strong> (the perfect job) requires a move. Alors<\/strong>, in between updating mon profile LinkedIn<\/strong> (my LinkedIn profile) and asking mes professeurs<\/strong> (my professors) for advice, I also have to think about le co\u00fbt d’un d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement<\/strong> (the cost of moving).<\/p>\n

Most of all it means thinking about what I want to do and being sure I can do it en fran\u00e7ais<\/strong> (in French)!<\/p>\n
