Being busy looking for a job<\/a> and finishing my thesis<\/a> has left me with little time<\/a> to sleep. Le manqu\u00e9 de sommeil<\/strong> (the lack of sleep) over the past few months has left me constantly searching for le bouton snooze<\/strong> (the snooze button).<\/p>\n

Tous les soirs<\/strong> (every night) before I go to sleep je r\u00e8gle mon r\u00e9veil<\/strong> (I set my alarm clock) for the next day. Even if 24 hour clocks<\/a> sometimes confuse me, they stop me from setting mon r\u00e9veil<\/strong> for the wrong time!<\/p>\n

I use mon portable<\/strong> (my cellphone) as mon r\u00e9veil<\/strong>, and it always tells me how many hours until l’alarme<\/strong> will sonner<\/strong> (go off):<\/p>\n

Alarme dans 6 heures et 12 minutes \u00e0 partir de maintenant<\/strong>
\nAlarm set for 6 hours and 12 minutes from now<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

After je m’endorme<\/strong> (I go to sleep) I’m greeted in the morning with a familiar sound:<\/p>\n

My first reaction is, bien s\u00fbr<\/strong> (of coure), to press le bouton snooze<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dix minutes plus tard\u2026 BIP BIP BIP<\/strong>

Then it\u2019s time to se lever<\/strong> (get up) and se pr\u00e9parer<\/strong> (get ready) for the day. C\u2019est alors<\/strong> (that\u2019s when) things start to get busy:<\/p>\n
