When you find <strong>un groupe<\/strong> that has a style you really you study all the time just by listening to them over and over.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27027\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter post-item__attachment\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27027\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27027\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/05\/640px-Les_s\u0153urs_Boulay.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/05\/640px-Les_s\u0153urs_Boulay.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/05\/640px-Les_s\u0153urs_Boulay-350x235.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-27027\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=32328991\">Photo by Eli Bissonette<\/a> &#8211; Published with author&#8217;s permission: Grosse Bo\u00eete \/ Dare To Care Records, CC BY 3.0.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong><em>Les S\u0153urs Boulay<\/em><\/strong> (The Boulay Sisters) are a folk duo from <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> that I stumbled upon <strong>par hasard<\/strong> (randomly) while <strong>je <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/imparfait\/\">surfais<\/a> sur Internet<\/strong> (I was surfing the Internet). <strong>La musique<\/strong> is a fun mix of whimsical lyrics and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/voici-jean-guromarch-real-french-series\/\">acoustic instruments<\/a>. <strong>Leurs chansons<\/strong> (their songs) are very catchy and I cannot stop myself from singing along whenever I hear them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les S\u0153urs<\/strong> behind the group, St\u00e9phanie <strong>et<\/strong> M\u00e9lanie Boulay, are originally from <strong>la Gasp\u00e9sie<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/which-stateprovince-are-you-from-expression-location-in-french\/\">au<\/a> Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> and made a splash in the music scene when they won <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/music-at-the-opera-garnier\/\"><strong>un concours<\/strong><\/a> (a competition) in 2012. Soon after <strong>le concours<\/strong> they recorded their first album, <em><strong>Le poids des confettis<\/strong><\/em> (the weight of the confetti). Since then <strong>les s\u0153urs<\/strong> have also been featured on <em><strong>La Voix<\/strong><\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/she-tells-me-to-dance-mika-in-french\/\"><em>The Voice<\/em><\/a> <strong>au Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, and released a second album.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/where-to-hear-canadian-french\/\"><strong>L&#8217;accent canadien <\/strong><\/a>(the Canadian accent) that <strong><em>Les S\u0153urs Boulay<\/em><\/strong> have sticks out for people who are not used to it, but <strong>l\u2019accent<\/strong> gives <strong>la musique<\/strong> a unique sound that I really enjoy.
