I suspect that fascination is due in equal parts to his great songs, his tragic death . . . and his crazy dancing! I mean, check him out! Pokura [if you missed my earlier post you can read a bit more about him <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/a-few-of-my-favorite-things\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here <\/a>and see his version of <strong>Cette annee-la <\/strong>(<em>That year<\/em>, a French version of the English song Oh What a Night)]. <strong>Lequel des deux versions pr\u00e9f\u00e9rerez-vous? <\/strong>(<em>Which version do you like best?<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"M. (You can hear a version of it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BgX7CiImX6M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> if you like. The lyrics of the English don&#8217;t quite align to the French though, so don&#8217;t rely on it for your learning.)<br \/>\n** \u2018<em>le front\u2019<\/em> is literally \u2018<em>the forehead\u2019 <\/em>or \u2018<em>the front of the head\/face\u2019<\/em>. Like many words in songs, it is being used here figuratively, most likely to mean that Belinda is blond.
