{"id":29819,"date":"2018-03-06T05:30:47","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T04:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/?p=29819"},"modified":"2018-03-03T19:45:35","modified_gmt":"2018-03-03T18:45:35","slug":"too-much-of-a-good-thing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/too-much-of-a-good-thing\/","title":{"rendered":"Too much of a good thing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>February is over, and we&#8217;ve moved on to <strong>le mois de mars<\/strong> (<em>the month of March).<\/em> So much of <strong>f\u00e9vrier<\/strong> is dedicated to <strong>l&#8217;amour<\/strong> (<em>love<\/em>) (including some of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/a-love-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my own blog<\/a> posts!) that I thought we could perhaps use a little bit of a palette cleanser to put all the <strong>calins, baisers, et amour<\/strong> (<em>hugs, kisses, and love) <\/em>behind us as we look towards <strong>le printemps<\/strong> (<em>spring).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29825\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/03\/pexels-photo-236229.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/03\/pexels-photo-236229.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/03\/pexels-photo-236229-350x233.jpeg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"woo-sc-box  normal   \">Of course if you&#8217;ve been keeping up with the <strong>m\u00e9t\u00e9o<\/strong> from France these past few weeks, you know that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.francebleu.fr\/infos\/climat-environnement\/paris-la-neige-est-de-retour-1519733654\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>le printemps<\/strong> has never felt so far away!<\/a> <strong>Avec de la neige et des tempartures bien en-dessus de zero&#8230;<\/strong> <em>(With snow and temperatures well below zero&#8230;) <\/div><\/em><\/p>\n<p>I shared another video by the French artist <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-singer-anais\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ana\u00efs last year<\/a>. That one was also about love (in its way) and so is this one. But this week&#8217;s song is in honor of all of you out there who have had enough of <strong>l&#8217;amour et les couples<\/strong> (<em>love and couples)<\/em> until next year. I think it also falls nicely into that category that <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-pop-music-this-game-by-yelle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John B. talked about in his post last week<\/a>, it is catchy, easy to understand, and this one has the added bonus of a cute &#8220;mock dialog&#8221;
