{"id":30874,"date":"2018-11-06T05:30:11","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T04:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/?p=30874"},"modified":"2018-11-05T17:27:56","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T16:27:56","slug":"french-music-paris-by-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-music-paris-by-night\/","title":{"rendered":"French Music &#8211; Paris by night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the reasons why <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-culture-driving-in-france\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I enjoy driving in France<\/a> so much is that so many of my favorite memories involve racing around Paris in a little red <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autocar.co.uk\/car-news\/motoring\/history-peugeot-205-gti-%E2%80%93-picture-special\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peugeot 205<\/a> with my brother Fabrice on our way to some new adventure &#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/living-in-a-box\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">many of which took place in Paris at night<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-30882\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/11\/Paris_by_night-263x350.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/11\/Paris_by_night-263x350.jpg 263w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/11\/Paris_by_night.jpg 756w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 263px) 100vw, 263px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is almost nowhere (at least anywhere I&#8217;ve been) as magical as Paris at night. Paris really is the city of light, and when dusk comes and night settles over the city, Paris really shines. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/musings-of-an-ex-expat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">For a kid from the country<\/a>, the Parisian nightlife was a wonder to behold. This song by B\u00e9nabar (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-music-benabar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who we&#8217;ve featured before<\/a>) really captures the magic and reminds me of all the fun times to be had in one of the world&#8217;s truly great cities.
