It\u2019s that little <strong>de<\/strong> \u2026 Correct usage includes it with <em>se souvenir de<\/em> but not with<em> se\u00a0<\/em><i>rappeler<\/i>\u00a0\u2026 though in actual use you are seeing more and more examples of <em>se rappeler de<\/em> \u2026 just remember that it is technically wrong!<\/p>\n<p>Here is a song all about memories from the Qu\u00e9becois singer <a It can mean \u201c<em>there is<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>there are<\/em>\u201d (but don\u2019t confuse it with <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-language-voila-or-il-y-a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voil\u00e0<\/a>). This song includes one of my favorite uses in the expression \u201c<em>Il y a de <\/em>\u00e7<em>a, des ann\u00e9es\u201d<\/em>.
