I&#8217;ve also shared mid-century songs from French y\u00e9-y\u00e9 singers like <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-music-katty-line\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Katty Line<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/time-to-wake-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jacqueline Ta\u00efeb<\/a> . But as the movement known as\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/societe\/article\/2019\/02\/17\/trois-mois-apres-le-debut-du-mouvement-nouveau-rassemblement-de-gilets-jaunes-a-paris_5424547_3224.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">les gilets jaunes<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>enters its third month, I had to share this new oldie I came across.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-31148\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/02\/pexels-photo-775414-280x350.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/02\/pexels-photo-775414-280x350.jpeg 280w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/02\/pexels-photo-775414.jpeg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box  normal   \">To read some of my earlier coverage of les gilets jaunes:<br \/>\nEarly coverage of the protests from last <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-current-events-les-gilets-jaunes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">December<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-current-events-update-on-les-gilets-jaunes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January<\/a> updates including links to French news coverage.<br \/>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-politics-a-voting-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">latest coverage<\/a> on the\u00a0<strong>grand d\u00e9bat.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p><strong>Plus \u00e7a change&#8230; \/ <\/strong><i>The more things change&#8230;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>While\u00a0<strong>les gilets jaunes<\/strong> don&#8217;t have an official leader (nor according to many, a coherent strategy) their protests did start around major anti-tax protests and they seem, across France, to be protesting the way the world is moving\u00a0<strong>trop vite<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(<em>too quickly)<\/em> around them.
