That&#8217;s just what <em><strong>IFOP<\/strong> <\/em>(<strong>Institut d\u2019\u00c9tudes Opinion et Marketing en France et \u00e0 l&#8217;International<\/strong> \/\u00a0<em>Institute for the Study of Opinion and Marketing in France and Internationally) <\/em>has done <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.com\/80ans\/ifop-bouge-avec-son-temps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">for over 80 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box  normal   \">The verb <em>penser<\/em> means\u00a0<em>to think. <\/em>It is a regular -er verb that is conjugated in the present tense as\u00a0<em>je pense, tu penses, il\/elle\/on pense, nous pensons, vous pensez, ils\/elles pensent. <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatefaireconjuguer.com\/search?verb=penser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to see all the different forms of <\/a><em>penser.<\/em><\/div>\n<p>IFOP\u00a0<b>m\u00e8ne des enqu\u00eates aupr\u00e8s des populations repr\u00e9sentatives\u00a0<\/b>(<em>conducts surveys of representative groups<\/em>) to understand what\u00a0<strong>le fran\u00e7ais moyen\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>the average French person<\/em>) thinks about topics ranging from\u00a0<strong>les actualit\u00e9s, la politique, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et le climat social<\/strong> (<em>current events, politics, society, and social attitudes).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Recent findings include the fact that for another year in a row the singer <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-music-jean-jacques-goldman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jean-Jacques Goldman<\/a> <b>est <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.com\/publication\/le-top-50-des-personnalites-decembre-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">la\u00a0personnalit\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e* des Fran\u00e7ais<\/a><\/b> (<em>is the favorite celebrity of the French), <\/em>that (as of mid-February after 14 weekends of protests) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.com\/publication\/les-francais-et-le-mouvement-des-gilets-jaunes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">50% of French people still support <strong>les Gilets jaunes<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>74% des Fran\u00e7ais pensent que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.com\/publication\/le-barometre-dimage-des-agriculteurs-vague-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">les consommateurs peuvent avoir confiance dans les agriculteurs<\/a><\/strong> (<em>74% of French people think that consumers can have confidence in farmers\/growers<\/em>), and that while 84% of French prefer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.com\/publication\/les-francais-plutot-pain-au-chocolat-ou-chocolatine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>un pain au chocolat<\/strong><\/a> regionally others still prefer their\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/mixing-up-chocolate-croissants-and-croissant-chocolates-in-french\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">chocolatine<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box  normal   \"><em>Pain au chocolat<\/em> and <em>chocolatine <\/em>are not the only regional differences you&#8217;ll find in France as <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-regional-variants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elizabeth told us back in 2016<\/a> &#8230; or as you can see from this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.francetvinfo.fr\/france\/langues-regionale\/langue-francaise-le-match-des-regions_3224483.html#xtor=EPR-744-&#091;newsletterjt&#093;-20190308-&#091;sujet4&#093;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recent video from franceinfo<\/a>.
