Violations of the curfew are punishable by a fine of 135 Euros.<\/em>)<\/span><\/div>\n<p>While these measures are necessary, shutting down a country even if it&#8217;s just temporary is never easy, impacting businesses and people&#8217;s lives. Theater performances end early and people are leaving restaurants earlier than ever in a country where the evening often doesn&#8217;t get going until late.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, &#8220;<b>les mesures suivantes s&#8217;appliquent d\u00e9sormais partout en France:&#8221;<\/b> (<em>the following measures are in force everywhere in France:)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>pas de rassemblement \u00e0 plus de 6 dans l&#8217;espace public\u00a0<\/b>(<em>no gatherings of more than 6 people in public spaces)<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>interdiction de rassemblement priv\u00e9s\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>ban on private functions),<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>protocole sanitaire renforc\u00e9e dans les<\/strong> <strong>restaurants\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>enhanced sanitary measures in restaurants),<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>renforcement du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail: 2 \u00e0 3 jours <\/strong><b>minimum<\/b>\u00a0(<em>reinforced remote\/home work: 2 to 3 days minimum).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure that,\u00a0<strong>que ce soit en France ou <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/here-and-now-more-useful-french-expressions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ailleurs\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>(<em>whether in France or elsewhere),<\/em> we all hope these and other measures will not be needed ere long.
