This week I found a little video that &#8211; in addition to including lots of great vocabulary &#8211; puts a spotlight on Le Grand Paris and how it will transform life in \u00cele-de-France<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"0000000000002ec30000000000000000_33570\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-0000000000002ec30000000000000000_33570-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-0000000000002ec30000000000000000_33570-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">The \u00cele-de-France is the region that includes Paris and the 7 surrounding <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/french-vocabulary-town-and-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">d\u00e9partements<\/a>: la petite couronne (little crown) of Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, and les Hauts-de-Seine; and la grande couronne (big crown) of Val-d&#8217;Oise, Seine-et-Marne, Essonne, and Yvelines.
