From Earth Day …<\/h3>\n

Le jeudi 22 avril<\/strong>2<\/a><\/sup>Thursday April 22<\/em><\/span> was le Jour de la Terre<\/strong> (alternatively known as la Journ\u00e9e<\/a> de la Terre<\/strong>), “un rendez-vous annuel de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration \u00e9cologique instaur\u00e9 pour rappeler l’importance de la nature et de la pr\u00e9servation de la plan\u00e8te.<\/strong><\/a>“3<\/a><\/sup>A yearly appointment celebrating the environment and reminding us of the importance of nature and the need to preserve the planet<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

A l\u2019occasion\u00a0 de cette 51e<\/a>\u00a0 Journ\u00e9e de la Terre<\/strong>4<\/a><\/sup>Coinciding with this 51st Earth Day<\/em><\/span>, IFOP<\/a> conducted a survey to understand the opinions of the French on la transition \u00e9cologique<\/strong>. In the survey<\/a> of 1504 people, they found that while a majority of French people over 18 reconnaissent l’urgence de la transition\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e9cologique<\/b>5<\/a><\/sup>acknowledge the urgency of becoming more ecologically minded\/green<\/em><\/span>, almost 40% feel like they don’t know enough about the topic.<\/p>\n

Part of the official campagne m\u00e9dia<\/strong><\/a>6<\/a><\/sup>press campaign<\/em><\/span>, this video reminds us (in an ironic way) that Heureusement que les animaux sont l\u00e0 pour ramasser nos d\u00e9chets.<\/strong>7<\/a><\/sup>Good thing<\/em> (lit. happily<\/em>) the animals are here to pick up our trash<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
